Julie Cassel is a Founder of LAHMBs, which she co-founded with Monica Ordanoff in 2009. Before retiring in 2021, Julie spent 10 years as an entrepreneur in Vermont, where she owned a Ben & Jerry's franchise, followed by 22 years as a legal assistant in Hershey, Pennsylvania.Since retirement, Julie has dedicated her time to growing LAHMBs and helping provide essential clothing and baby items to families in need throughout Central Pennsylvania. She also enjoys raising her grandchildren, gardening, and spending time outside with her beloved Akita, Gemma. Julie is passionate about serving others and believes that every child deserves a strong start in life.

Hailea Hassler

Hailea is a social worker and mom. Working with various populations, she filled a huge spot in her heart when she discovered LAHMBS & utilized them for clients of her own in a case manager role. She enjoys hikes, traveling, & spending time with her husband, son & 2 rescue pups. Hailea found a passion for helping other moms and families in need and is thankful to be part of such an incredible organization. Hailea has been a case manager/social worker for the past 7 years working with various populations at non-profit organizations including Greater Harrisburg Healthy Start, YWCA, & UPMC.

Jessica King, MSW, LSW

Jessica King is a dedicated social work professional whose career has focused on strengthening children, families, and communities. A two-time alumna of Youngstown State University, she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work with high honors and distinguished herself through academic excellence, leadership, and mentorship.Presently, Jessica serves as the full-time NICU Social Worker within Maternal Child Health at UPMC Harrisburg. She works closely with medically fragile infants and their families, coordinating complex transitions of care, connecting families with critical community resources, and advocating for equitable access to services.Jessica's professional experience closely aligns with LAHMBS' mission of supporting infants, children, and families through practical assistance, compassionate service, and community partnerships. She brings expertise in maternal-child health, child welfare, trauma-informed care, and community collaboration, along with a deep commitment to helping families thrive.

Monica Ordanoff

Monica Ordanoff is the co-founder of LAHMB's and a passionate servant leader dedicated to strengthening communities through service, advocacy, and meaningful relationships. Her commitment to serving women and children began in her early twenties through volunteer leadership with a young women's service organization, inspiring a lifelong dedication to helping others reach their full potential. Monica earned both a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Education from the Pennsylvania State University. She also brings more than 20 years of professional experience in sales, where she has cultivated relationship management, collaboration, and organizational growth.   As a co-founder of LAHMB's, Monica works to advance the organization's mission by building partnerships, engaging the community, and creating opportunities to serve those in need.  She believes that strong communities are built through compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to empowering others. Outside of her volunteer role, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their family dog.  She loves traveling, being outdoors, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

John Redmond

John Redmond has 30 years of sales experience, including the last 17 years in sales management with FedEx. He graduated from Buffalo State Teachers College in 1991 with a degree in secondary English education. A lifelong Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan, John has been married to his wife, Cara, for 31 years. They are the proud parents of Mary Grace and Mark, and parents-in-law to Andrew. John is deeply committed to finding ways to make a meaningful difference in the local community.

Rita Reynolds

Rita Reynolds has spent more than 38 years working in technology, with much of her career focused on helping local governments and communities use technology to better serve people. Currently Director of Public Sector at CAI, Rita previously served as Chief Information Officer for the National Association of Counties and the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Messiah College.Rita is the wife of George Reynolds, who served in ministry for 37 years, including 17 years at Linglestown Life. Rita and George have been married for 44 years and have three adult children and eight grandchildren. For Rita, giving back is an important part of life, whether through her professional work, volunteering her technology skills, or simply finding ways to help others and strengthen her community.

Rachel Wong

Rachel began serving as the lead pastor of Linglestown Life in 2023.  She has served for over a decade in pastoral ministry and she enjoys living and working in Linglestown with her husband and two young sons. Before obtaining her Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary, she spent 3 years in a young adult missionary program with Global Ministries, serving in Johannesburg, South Africa and Seattle, WA. These experiences increased her compassion toward those on the margins of society, and she is passionate about the church creating relationships with and connecting to the community.  She loves working with the ministry of LAHMBs that makes a difference for the partners and families they serve.
